Tim Perkins is a violin player and composer who specializes in small ensemble and Orchestral composition, cross-stylistic violin playing and string arrangements. Originally an Orchestral viola player, he has performed at festivals and venues across the UK, Europe & Scandinavia on electric and acoustic violin, bouzouki and guitar as a session player and with contemporary folk band, Finality Jack. Tim is currently resident composer for the Oxford Proms Orchestra and writes for/performs with his contemporary folk Ceilidh band -'Bronze Earth Music'.
